Six Word Saturday

Time for another Six Word Saturday. To learn more about the origins of this concept, please check out the link above. Short explanation: Explain your life in six words or less.

I was torn between two entries this week:

Relaxing weekend? Too busy for that!
Joe doesn't get this. At all.
I'm sorry, do I bore you?

I really don't think he gets Six Word Saturday. Or my blog. Or me sometimes. I'm not complaining - he's a great guy. But really, sometimes I'm certain we're from different planets.

Can't wait to read your six words, either in the comments or on your own site through Mr. Linky below!

Men are from Mars, women from Venus. Or is it the other way around?

I should still be in bed.

Not that it's that early, but all of my kids went to sleepovers last night and I should still be in bed.

If men were to suddenly start understanding us, that'd be a lot like seeing a squirrel eating a snake.

Good Morning Cate :) I posted mine...

The Wife O Riley said...

That's the beauty of husbands, they don't have to get you all the time, they just have to love you.

I posted my 6 words.

Snarky A. said...

Good morning Cate!
Fabulous collection.

You know, they are still taking entries for the new book over at SMITH magazine. I read the first one thanks to you, and loved it, so it would be cool to be part of the second one.

My husband doesn't get any part of me, so don't feel bad. It's just a guy thing.

My 6 words:

Warm weather outside, IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!

Six Word Saturday means I don't have to start up my brain before blogging. Yay!

And Joe is just sooo uncool. Like, totally. :)

R Susanna said...

Just tell Joe that blogging gets you really excited in more ways than one.

Donnetta said...

Men. They know nothing. :)

Mr. Linky threw me for a curve the first time, which is why I linked twice. My entry in the Six Word Saturday reflects this swing and a miss! :)

Melissa - that's correct. Joe's definitely my favorite martian.

Reggie Girl - I like your six words, a lot. I need to remember that.

Angie - he has his moments. I shouldn't do my six words after wine, I migh've been a little cranky...

Blognut - totally understood.

Sarah - creepy and compeltely unnatural.

Kimber - morning! Well, afternoon now.

Wife O Riley - very true. As long as they love us, we'll keep them.

Snarky - I'm glad you read the book and enjoyed it. I should check out the submissions!

SisterFriend - warm here today as well. Yay!!!

Funny in my mind - I think I'm still asleep too.

Ryan - we're supposed to start our brains before blogging? Damn...

R Susanna - he knows I love blogging. He just doesn't get it. Which is ok.

Donnetta - you speak the truth.

Call Me Cate said...

Michael - you snuck in while I was typing. Can't wait to check out your six words.

Sass said...

I forgot to post this today!!!!

That was six words...but not the six I'd use right at the moment.

Mine would be,

"Hit and run driver was jailed."

I am having a hard time with just six words! ;)

Have a great day, everyone!

Deb said...

oooh!!! i just realized i have one!

Deb said...

ps: my husband doesn't get ANYTHING. except food, tv and sleep. not that those are bad things, but i feel ya.

Just say Julie said...

I nearly forgot to do mine, but mid-afternoon still counts right?

And mine only understand 5% of the time :)

Call Me Cate said...

Sass - I've been following along and I'm glad the driver is in jail. Even more glad that your dad is doing ok.

Deb - Joe's usually awesome. I feel bad for posting these last night, actually. New six words "I'm an ingrate, Joe's the man".

Julie - it's not Six Word Saturday Morning so mid-afternoon is just fine!

KiKi said...

Kiki - PMS sucks. Chocolate and midol for sure!

Husbands just don't get it sometimes. Thanks for hosting this each week. I always look forward to it!

Hula's Secret Blog said...

Yes, I agree with the first!

Call Me Cate said...

Tiffany - Thanks, I really look forward to it as well.

Hula - I hope you find some down time. I busted my butt yesterday so today can be a little less hectic.

Sassy Britches said...

Ugh. Pokey doesn't get it either! But, whatever; I LOVE it! And that's what matters, right?

P.S. Am clearly behind this week, so was not a participant (boo-hoo!). Will be back next time! Thanks for doing this!

Sassy Britches - we'll just catch you next week for sure!
