Six Word Saturday

Simple concept: describe your life in six words. More info by clicking here.

Also, never have I been more grateful for this short simple concept than tonight.

Nothing beats live music. Absolutely nothing.

I had an awesome time at an awesome concert last night. And many more concerts to come this year (currently tickets to three more, hoping to catch a minimum of one additional). All of which leads to tomorrow's Sunday confession, assuming I settle down enough to write it. Twenty-four hours later and still flying high.

Also, I'll totally be catching up on comments, reading and commenting ASAP.  Friday was a day off for me and I didn't make it through my usual routine.

Please share your six words either in the comments or on your blog - be sure to use Mr. Linky below so we can all visit! And here's the code to link back with the shiny button if you like:

Oops, I way overslept this morning and apparently so did Mr. Linky. But no, we were not sleeping together. Just, nevermind... It's fixed now. Sorry!

Good morning! I agree, no music like live music...
(I'm not actually awake, I scheduled this comment.)

The sun is out. I'm happy.

I find it completely ironic that i live in live music capitol and have yet to go to a show here.
So jealous!

What happened to linky?

Sass said...

I'm playing along over at my place! ;)

absolutely true...

at last i could manage to put Mr. Linky on my blog...

thanks again for this beautiful word game which is more than a game... a succinct way of expression... i've been always in love with such modes of expression...

love and peace

Ooooh... concerts are so much fun. Glad you had a good time.

I'm playing along, too (Mr. Linky has escaped, it seems) over at my place.

Six words up over at my place.

Ooooooo live concerts! Summer is cooooming! I'm playing along at my place too!

There's no Mr. Linky! He had run amok! I think you should punch him in the face.

I love live music! It certainly sooths the savage beast...and speaking of which, is it my computer, or is Mr. Link AWOL?

As a guest post buddy should I be playing along?! Sorry I haven't!

Ribbon said...

Hope that live music finds you dancing and thanks for Six Word Saturday :-)

best wishes Ribbon

Mr Linky did me wrong. I'm so sorry. Fixed now! :(

Sarah - you were more successful scheduling your comment than I was this post.

Beth - great six words. Sun is out here too and it's so nice to see!

kimber - good to see you! I'm a fan of chirping birds as long as they aren't RIGHT outside my window when I'm trying to sleep. Also, the woodpecker makes me angry so he can stay away.

Julie - We currently have 5 concerts lined up for summer (including this one already gone) ranging from U2 down to a private backyard concert.

Sass - Morning! Your profile pic makes me sell my soul to Starbucks. You should get commission.

human being - I also love the short posts. So much range in just six little words.

RAS - I'm just glad Joe enjoyed this concert. I thought he would if he could be open-minded about it.

TMC - thanks, I'll be over to check it out!

Sassy Britches - Yay summer! And nothing beats outdoor shows. This one was indoors, which sucked, but probably for the best since it was raining like crazy.

Donnetta - Totally punched him in the face. How dare he screw us all over like that?

Melissa - I think Mr. Linky was playing a belated April Fools joke.

mo - you should totally be playing along. Breaks my heart that you don't. I feel shunned and unworthy. I'm going to go cry in a corner and sing "I'm a little teapot".

Sounds like your having a great break from work. I absolutely agree about live music!

Good morning Cate! I'm glad you had a great time! I love live music!

Simply AnonyMom said...

I love live music too! It will shake all worries away for at least a bit!

Call Me Cate said...

Ribbon - I'm an awful dancer but boy is it fun!

Juliet Colors - It was really great to be off yesterday. And Joe had an actual much-needed break as well.

Snarky A. - Welcome home!!!

Simply AnonyMom - I love Snoopy dancing at a concert. Made of awesome!

BeeHappy said...

I love music especially live and new. What concert did you go to?

Pretty Perch said...

I could not agree with you more...I absolutely love live music and concerts!

Megan said...

I agree. I don't go to many concerts but I would love to go to more.

SparkleFarkle said...

Flying high? You mean you're trille-ing???

Six Word Saturday's Six Words: To bake, or not to bake?

(go HERE for *assumes Paul Harveyish voice* "the rest of the story."

Call Me Cate said...

BeeHappy - Answer about the concert in tomorrow's post! (Or at least, that's what I have planned at the moment! I haven't actually written it yet...)

Pretty Perch - I can enjoy almost any kind of music live.

Megan - Last year, I think we only hit 3 concerts. This year, I'm shooting for twice that.

SparkleFarkle - I hope people wander over because that's a very interesting recipe indeed. Mo might like it - or be horrified at the non-traditional use of his favorite food.

I play the six word saturday thing on my blog every week, but I keep forgetting to come back after you've had time to get up and do yours to put my name on the Mr Linky thingy.

I made it back this week though. :)

Call Me Cate said...

andy - You know, I bet I could even handle Neil Diamond live music. I can't believe he's the only show you've ever seen! Come visit, we'll fix that.

Debbie - thank you for visiting! And congrats!

soulbrush - I can't imagine a life without music.

Tori_z - I'm so glad you made it back this week! I usually schedule posts for 7:30am (east coast) but I need to start letting this one go up at midnight.
