Personalized calling card

Would it be wrong to make up little cards that say something like:

On the back it could say:

The situations where these would come in handy are endless.
  • Waiting for an appointment
  • In line at the store
  • Waiting for a table at a restaurant
  • Gynecologist visits
  • Drive-thru
  • Family vacation
I'm sure there are many other applications I haven't thought of but these could really make life grand!

In addition, Joe could keep a stash in his wallet to hand out. Like this past Friday when Joe was at a doctor's appointment. I worry an unnatural amount. I think I'm somehow less patient when I'm not the patient. While waiting, I was thinking it would be great if he could hand them something like this, maybe speed them up a little.

I'm totally going to call and get a quote.

I think those calling-cards would be just the right medicine! And so, perhaps, would be a visit to my Silly Sunday Sweepstakes?

Fabulous cards. Oh, I can think of so many time when these would come in handy...

Maybe I should call and get a quote for something similar as well... Brilliant, Cate!

Those are great! You can also make a sign to hold up.

I think it's fantastic, and I love the peaceful background. I always like to make sure I'm presenting a peaceful aura before punching someone in the face.

must ponder.

Melissa - I'l take a visit!

Snarky A - Maybe we can get a group discount!
Wife O Riley - I can hire someone to wear one of those sandwich boards and follow me around!

C Beth - I designed the graphic background before adding the text. I was originally going for a more calming request but it was so not "Cate" of me.

Andy - you may borrow my phrase until you find one of your own. And no failing yesterday. I don't write people off for one missed Saturday!

the front of the card is fantastic, the back of the card is genius!

I love the subtlety of these cards.

SO understated and yet so effective.

LOVE IT!

I think this is a fabulous idea, and I happen to know that it wouldn't cost you much at all to have them printed.

'Cause, like, my husband? Commercial Printer!!!

Those are hilarious!

LOL, I like the way you think! I could use something like this myself!

Just Say Julie - A variation of these would work quite nicely in school!

Teresa - Thanks for stopping by! I'll try to return the visit!

the letters i wish i'd written - Well thank you!

PetalsYoga - I think the message is in such conflict with the design, they'll have to read it twice. This will make it more likely to stick with them.

blognut - Your husband may be my new best friend!

Yaya - glad you like!

Juliana - If we put our heads together, I'm sure this group could come up with the perfect wording.

If you do NOT call for an estimate, I will punch YOU in the face. I am not even KIDDING you; I think this is a brilliant idea. Go for it.
